The 14-point proposal put forward by Tehran through Pakistan seems meaningless in Washington’s eyes. Instead of de escalating the conflict, the signals of war are actually growing stronger!
“I can’t imagine it will be accepted,” Trump asserted. This cold statement immediately sparked global concern: is a major war just around the corner?
More than just rhetoric, Trump also hinted at the possibility of military action.
“If they do something bad, we’ll see!” he said a short sentence that now resonates as a real threat!
Meanwhile, from Tehran, the voices of war are no less loud. Military official Mohammad Jafar Asadi said a new conflict could erupt at any moment. Iran even accused the United States of being untrustworthy!
Amid this tug-of-war, the world’s vital waterway the Strait of Hormuz is also at stake. If conflict breaks out, approximately 20 percent of the global energy supply could be paralyzed!
The impact is already being felt. Oil prices have soared by 50 percent! The global economy is starting to falter, and the Iranian people themselves are now suffering from inflation that has reached 50 percent.
If that weren’t enough, the conflict is spreading to other regions. In Lebanon, the Israeli military is again attacking Hezbollah targets. A ceasefire? It’s almost like a fairy tale!
